World Campus has an open enrollment. All courses are self-study, allowing you to enroll at any time as well as complete the course at your pace.

All courses are fully online. Each course is made up of a series of modules. Within each module you are expected to complete 6 online activities which include the following:


Module Overview
At the beginning of each module, there is course Overview. It contains a module breakdown of requirements which you can download for easy reference.


Seminars
Each module contains a module seminar. These are a series of self-paced, interactive sessions. Each seminar is voiced and participants can click Pause at any time, and replay a previous slide by using the PowerPoint navigation system.


Quizzes
Participants are required to complete a quiz or knowledge check within each module. Participants have two attempts to pass each quiz with a passing grade of 70%.


Skill Builder Activities
The skill builder activities allow participants to put theory into practice and build on the knowledge and skills gained from the seminars. There is a corresponding Skill Builder for each module. Each Skill Builder is worth 5 points. Participants receive 5 points for completing them and 0 points for an incomplete activity.


Online Discussions
The discussion forum allows participants to reflect on their experiences and share there experiences with other participants and AHA's online monitors. There is a corresponding Discussion for each module and they are worth 5 points each. Students are required to post a reply and one response per discussion in order to earn the 5 points.


"a ha!" Moments
At the end of each module, participants are asked to watch what we call an "a ha!" Moment. What is an "a ha!" Moment? It is a mini lesson within the lesson that allows you to reflect on what you have learned and inspires and motivates you to continue to embrace the right service attitude.

A participant must have a minimum grade of 70% to earn an online course certificate.

A participant's final grade in a course will be computed based on the following criteria and weight distribution, for a total of 100%.

Quizzes: 10%
Midterm Exam: 25%
Final Exam: 25%
Activities: 40% (Online discussions and skill builders make up this percentage)

Our online courses are self - study allowing participants to complete a course at their own time and place. It is estimated that each module takes 2-3 hours so a course that has 8 modules would take approximately 16-24 hours. Participants are able to begin a module and come back to it later if they need more time.

All courses are fully online and do not require a textbook. Any materials participants need are provided within the course.

World Campus has online course monitors that are available through instant chat and email if you have any questions. We encourage you to ask questions. If at any time, we find you are not taking the course seriously, or have answered inappropriately, our course monitors will delete your answer and ask that you try again.

With a passing grade of 70% or better, participants earn a certificate from AHA World Campus. This certificate is available to download and print along with your course transcript at any time. If participants earn a score of 93% or higher, they will earn the Honors Designation on their certificate.

Yes, some functions of each module work on IOS Apple tables or Smart Phones. However it is suggested to take the course on a computer.

AHA's professional development courses are licensed and recognized by the South Carolina Commission on Higher Education.

Earning a World Campus certificate does not guarantee participants a job. However, an AHA certificate course enhances participants resumes while improving their soft skills making them more competitive in the workplace.

All quizzes and exams are taken from the interactive module seminars. Participants can use the quizzes from each module to study for the final and midterm exams.

World Campus is AHA's global classroom. All courses are delivered online through World Campus giving students the opportunity to participate in online activities and discussions with other students from around the world. World Campus allows participants to travel the world without leaving home.

World Campus was developed to inspire global connections and foster understanding among students. Learning to embrace diversity and show respect for individual difference is key to successful management and leadership in today's multicultural workplace.

You must be able to speak and read English. You also are required to have internet access.

Refund Policy


Students are responsible for full payment for each individual course prior to being enrolled into World Campus. A full refund will only be issued if a student notifies AHA in writing prior to them beginning the course and logging into World Campus. Accordingly, AHA will refund course fees based on the following criteria:


Module 1 - 90%
Module 2 - 80%
Module 3 - 70%
Module 4 - 60%
Module 5 - 50%
Module 6 - 40%


No refunds will be issued after a student has completed more than 60% of the modules in any course.
